“Don’t you think?” Kakashi whispers, sounding so devastatingly raspy, it makes you shiver. You barely wait for him to finish before you’re nodding, vehemently agreeing.
You could have shaken hands. Treated each other as the professional ninja you are. Or simply as adults and taken each other’s word for it. But you both move in closer, preferring a more…intimate gesture to solidify the truce.
