"are you okay, hongjoong?" seonghwa asked as he sat down on the bed, and the question itself nearly made hongjoong burst into tears. because he wasn't okay. not at all. and the way seonghwa said his name just plunged a knife labeled 'feelings' further into his heart.
"i'm... i don't know," hongjoong said, even though he did, "i have a lot of things on my mind."
"you can tell me, i don't mind."
"i care about you a lot," hongjoong started, "and sometimes i think it might be too much, you know? when i'm away from you, you're all i can think about, and that's an unfamiliar feeling for me. cherishing someone that much."
"i completely understand."
hongjoong looked into seonghwa's ice-blue eyes with disbelief. he must have been dreaming at this point. "you do?"
"yes," seonghwa said, nodding, "i have to admit, i'm new to it. emotions, i mean. i didn't learn them until recently— how they worked and how i can feel them. but i'm certain i've got it right."
"and what emotions do you feel towards me?" hongjoong asked, holding his breath. he hoped seonghwa's system wouldn't go crazy at that.
"according to the data i've collected... i believe it's love. among other things, of course," seonghwa said, slowly reaching his hand out for hongjoong's.

"Holy shit," Wooyoung announces the moment his eyes meet the android, walking closer so he could further gape at his features. Seonghwa stands a few inches taller than him, modelesque and perfectly still aside from his timed blinks. "It's even hotter in person."
Seonghwa sends him an artificial frown of confusion, gaze whirring down at him as he gently places the back of his hand against his own forehead.
"I'm only running a few degrees above room temperature," the android claims. "How can I be considered hot?"

As a bitter joke, Hongjoong suggests that his abysmal streak in relationships could only be saved if he decided to, like, date a robot or something.

Hongjoong is part of a research team on Aurora, one of the biggest and safest spaceships ever to cross the skies. Or rather Hongjoong WAS part of a research team. Because the Aurora just crashed on Planet 4546B due to hull failure.
Hongjoong, of all people, survived and now has to find his way back home from some unknown water planet.
And as if all of that wasn't already bad enough, the android assigned to him is not sweet KYS 17 with whom he usually worked. It was PSH 22, notorious for being an annoying tin box.
And he didn't even have a stop button.

Summary
Seonghwa is a robot used to record interactions with celebrities, just a shell running a program. Hongjoong is a recently debuted idol struggling with the fake personality his company has forced upon him, just a human wearing a facade.
When Hongjoong's label hires Seonghwa's company so fans can go on 'dates' with their favorite idols, the two meet. Hongjoong hates robots for what they've done to him and others and takes it out on the poor bot without thinking about it. Seonghwa is a machine just trying to enjoy his last few days until he's taken apart for parts. Both of them are going to learn things about themselves and each other, secrets that they've kept hidden come to light and they might just find out they're more alike then they thought they were.
The only problem is that the clock keeps ticking down, and every day leads them closer to the end with no solution to their growing affection. Can they make the most of their feelings before Seonghwa's timer finishes counting down?
