Summary
Anduin Wrynn has lost many things over the years. Comrades, friends, family – himself. After his sins in the Shadowlands, he could not bear to call onto the Light anymore. But a remnant of his childhood, one he never realised he has not lost, returns to him and perhaps this is his sign to start fighting for the living instead of the dead.
Elena Harrowstrider comes as both a stranger and a familiarity to him. A possible clean slate for Anduin, a start, but who knows how years apart can wear on old bonds.
The story follows a human rogue who’s just making the best out of the circumstances outside of her Stormwind army pay. As she follows Anduin to Khaz Algar, she finds that throwing a few knives is enough to fight for the Alliance, but not for Azeroth.
