The ketch was almost directly behind them. They could hear the rasping of metal taken from its sheath, and Player knew if they couldn't find refuge immediately, they would be overrun by the Bronze Legion.
A different kind of shadow, separate from the island's, bloomed in the seas directly below Player's boat. They barely had time to register it before everything was sprayed with water. Their caravel bobbed in the now-violent waves. Confused yells and shouts could be heard as the crew was tossed around like they were in a salad spinner.
A humongous red shark, with spotlight-white glowing eyes, crashed back down into the ocean to their left. The wave upon its descent was comparable to that of a tsunami. One of the Legion sailboats disappeared, just like that, in the jaws of the monstrous beast.

During a lull in anything too extreme happening in Draco, the King sends 'You' on a mission to try to uncover the mysteries surrounding the kingdom of Ravenna and its recent strange behavior. However, 'You' finds himself entangled in a web of political intrigue as his journey takes him across the lands of the Bronze Sea. These lands are caught in an all-consuming war for possession of the Sea Cubes, mysterious artifacts with the power of granting mages powers on the levels of gods. 'You' has to try to discern friend from foe as he works with a girl named Iris to uncover the heart of Ravenna's darkest secrets, and possibly shift the entire balance of all the lands as a whole through his exploits.
Let's just hope he makes it back in time for Christmas...
