Kaiara was coerced into being the hitman who’s going to kill the next in throne, prince Rafayel, who so curiously also hired her to be his bodyguard. Despite having no prior experience in being good at either of those things, she must follow suit. Because if she fails, that of who she loves most will die. But what happens when tides turn and who she loves most, turns into the person who she has to kill?
A tint of amusement coats his eyes. He squints lightly at her. “No? Why’s that?” He asks, teasing. As if this was fun to him.
“I’m,” She shakes her head in thought, “I’m not a bodyguard.” She says more serious, as if it’s obvious.

Thanks to a TikTok trend, some alcohol, her sister's begging, and a strong dislike for the idea of fate and Astra, Emma jokingly prays to the goddess of Chaos and gets an answer--she becomes MC, but with none of MC's memories and only the knowledge of the game she got from her sister's obsession with it, an obsession she didn't pay much attention to.
This is my attempt at a realistic Isekai fic with an MC that knows something of the game, but not everything and what she does remember may or may not be accurate. MC isn't at all excited to find out her whole life is just...gone.
This is for fun. I hope you enjoy it. Also, I'm not sure how many chapters this will take but I have a basic plot and a rough ending in mind. I will finish this fic--I hate leaving things hanging and I hate when stories are left unfished as a reader.
