Summary
The sun was beginning to set, casting the small cafe in a warm yellow light. When Harrow looked at the barista, she immediately believed the sunlight was flowing in for her; she stood behind the counter like an ancient figure carved from marble, all sharp jawlines and well-defined muscles. The golden hour light made her positively radiant. She belonged in a museum, not behind a cash register. Harrow none-so-gently shoved down the instinctual desire to photograph her.
“What can I getcha?”
Harrow cleared her throat awkwardly.

Summary
Gideon and Harrow are university students who end up, to their great disgust, cast in the same Shakespeare play.
When Dulcinea Septimus, aspiring director, asks Gideon Nav if she wants to audition for Hamlet - the play she’s directing - Gideon says yes with no hesitation. Unfortunately, Gideon’s rival since childhood, Harrowhark Nonagesimus has been cast as the titular character. This would have been fine, if Gideon hadn’t been cast as Horatio, Hamlet’s best friend.
Forced to get along until show week, or at least not kill each other in the rehearsal room, Gideon and Harrow must try to make amends. And in doing so, they realise that Dulcinea may have not made a bad decision in casting them together after all.

Life's not bad for Gideon. She's got a nice predictable job, good friends, a hot roommate. The worst thing is having to deal with her roommate's shitty sister and their terrible friend, but its worth the tradeoff.
It was simple, and for Gideon that was good enough.
But things hadn't always been so great. Someone died and the events that followed shattered her world, but you'd never know it talking to her.
Then one day a familiar face returns and turns everything upside down. Gideon thought she'd moved on but then doubt began to creep in...

While only a fool would claim absolute comprehension of life and death (and He is now, as you say, ‘space dust,’), I can assert with confidence that you, Gideon Nav, are not dead.
I have provided a short bibliography of relevant works on post-mortuary thanergy should you wish to self-study on the topic, but given that the number of ‘titties’ in those works is negligible (but perhaps interestingly, not ‘none’), my assumption is that you’ll bin it immediately.
