Summary
After the yearly Extermination comes to an end, Alastor ends his broadcast early to journey topside to the Louisiana swamps, having promised his friend he would be there early to have dinner. Husk tags along. Unfortunately, in his haste, he ends up opening the portal in front of his old home. The two venture into the swamp and, surprisingly, come across two abandoned children (8 and 5) hiding in his old home.

In hindsight, there really should have been a warning of some sort. The diamond clicked on the bar, catching a bright flame that erupted outwards.
Norrix fell back, narrowly burning his face off as the ports all opened and flames erupted everywhere. Nothing had reached his collected library of magic but that didn't terrify him any less. The flames blazed on and on and on until it finally pittered out to green flames covering the suit's head.

Summary
Norrix staggered to his feet and tried to take in the damage between bursts of pain. Modeus had been tossed and the suit seemed to be incapable of movement. The least horrible scenario was simply damage to the shell but the worst case scenario was the blast had destroyed the suit's enchantments entirely. Lucia had been knocked back to the ground and pressed a hand to her side. She looked in severe pain.
