Tres años después de que Yitán se quedara atrapado en el árbol Lifa, Blank sigue su incansable búsqueda por encontrar los restos de su mejor amigo.
Contra todo pronóstico consigue encontrarlo y rescatarlo de su cárcel de raíces. Pero no lo salva solo a él. El villano de la historia, Kuja, ha sobrevivido también; además, aparentemente no tuvo entera culpa de todo lo que pasó, y ahora quiere vivir una vida tranquila, pero no sabe cómo.Así, Blank y Kuja se encuentran compartiendo la antigua guarida de Tantalus que se acaba convirtiendo en un hogar de nuevo, pero eta vez con solo dos habitantes, entre los cuales empieza a germinar algo.

Like most things in his life up to now, it doesn't exactly pan out like he expects. His vision of joining Gaia's most esteemed underground heist operation involved a lot more thieving...and a lot less crossdressing.
