Summary
Thor returns just nine months later after returning to Asgard with Loki. Now both are back and each have secrets of their own. Loki finds Steve and Tony's secrets, instead of fleeing away, They join in. Now Steve is enduring the start of his slave training, while avoiding the team and the public from knowing.
His main teacher isn't his master Tony as he learns how to be a sex slave. It's Loki. Who just happens to be dating their own sibling, who is also their Master. Loki exposes him to the subculture but also to heavy topics he never expected. Just what do you do when a genderfluid God asks you with the voice of an angel, if suicide is holy and if self harm can be a valid devotional act to your father whom hates you but is also a God.
Steve expected Loki to be just a sister/brother sub, now he is going down a rabbit hole he could never have planned and he vows to endure it all for Loki's sake.

Summary
Loki loses the ones he loves, at the hands of the Allfather, as a penalty for his crimes. Sentenced to spend his lifetime imprisoned, Loki can only glimpse his deceased soulmate in his dreams.
The passage of time, although unnoticed, weighs and leaves scars of what once was. Yet, a sudden turn of events causes ripples that reach present day, and have a bloodless Loki crossing path with Nyx; an avenger and demon, who’s more human than what her true nature lets on and is so identical to Loki’s only love. It is only then that Loki remembers that time and fate can bring back all which once was lost. All but at a price.
Only one of the two remembers their past. But let’s not forget...

Summary
Don't worry, this is not the last story in the Dreamfasting series - I guess you could say it ends the first phase. There's still a bit of a mystery afoot, and a bit of a gigantic revelation that...well, you'll see.
Since a few folks have asked: I swiped the term "dreamfasting" from the 80s Jim Henson movie The Dark Crystal. It has a slightly different meaning there, but I always thought it was a beautiful word.

Incidentally I am pretty well versed in Norse mythology, I just can't be arsed to deal with that whole family tree given that these are not actual gods but fictionalized versions of them. (Yes there is a difference. I dated an actual Heathen for two years and they are serious about their lore.) I only bring this up because I'm about to do naughty things with a character's origins, and I don't want anyone to be all "But that's not how it happened! Critical research fail!"
Anyway - I'd like to say this'll all make sense in the end because of my Grand Plan, but I'm making it up as I go along.

Originally this was the first chapter of a multi-part work, but since the narrative arc was weird I decided to split it up. Somehow while doing that I managed to lose all the comments and kudos, so, I apologize if yours has vanished - but I love you all!
There's a really brief description of torture in this one, and it's squicky, but it didn't seem like enough to warrant an archive warning.
So: After trying a number of times, our boys finally get down to business. Meanwhile Steve learns there's such a thing as apple grass*, being magic isn't all bad, and naps are the best thing ever.
* - Yeah, it's a Doctor Who reference. I am nothing if not a dork.

Loki decides to run off. Also he has reasons for that. But again, it's hard to do anything when you aren't a god anymore.
