Thomas looks back at the brown-greyish human-size cat, and slowly approaches him. When close enough, Thomas then loudly cough. The cough grabs the cat’s attention, for he quickly turns around. In the cat’s paws…hands, is a cup with an unknown substance.
“Hello there, Asparagus,” says Thomas.
“Hello to you too, Thomas,” says the vegetable named cat in human form, human size. “I was wondering when you were going wake up.”
(in which this is an incorrect quotes that I wrote as a proper cats musical fic because it’s too funny to me.)

Demeter didn’t know how it was she ended up with her arms around Bombalurina. But once she found herself there, she squeezed her eyes shut and locked her grip so tightly she felt surprised, if distantly, that she heard no complaint for Bombalurina’s breathing. Instead Bombalurina recovered quickly from her surprise, wrapped her own arms around Demeter’s shoulders and leaned her cheek against the top of Demeter’s head as though it was only the natural process of things, petting the furs on her shoulders in slow strokes of her fingers.
“Oh, darling,” she said softly, drawing in a long breath for a sigh as she brought out her claws ever-so-slightly, scratching between tufts of Demeter’s fur, and gentled her on, “You’re all right. I’m right here.”

The Rum Tum Tugger was acting weird. Though that was in a way his resting state, right now Mistoffelees couldn't help but worry about his mate. He was so winded from the little running they'd done, and one hand kept shooting up to his chest to rub it, as if trying to soothe pain. As they shared the rat on an old chair nearby, he couldn't help but notice Tugger's breaths didn't calm down, and all throughout their breakfast he was silently gasping for air.
"Are you really alright?" He asked again, fixing his mate with a concerned stare.
Tugger, though his face was in a pained grimace, nodded: "I'm okay." He averted his eyes. "Tired."
