Summary
Xie Wang, the Scorpion King, has gone to great lengths to stay alive.
Ye Baiyi, the aging Sword Immortal, isn't sure how much longer he wants to live.
Maybe Fate isn't done with them.
Ye Baiyi finds Xie Wang buried alive in an avalanche after visiting Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing at the Armory. The Scorpion King is very weak and sick so Ye Baiyi reluctantly cares for him, bringing him along on his journey. As they travel together, they face threats and grow closer, with an awkward, unique bond of their own.
Only together can they figure out how they can put their damaged pieces back together and right some wrongs they caused in the martial arts world.
