It made his eyes start glistening and his mouth into a terrofying smile. A strange sense of power coursed through Buster's veins as he continued to consider his terrible plan. Imagining how he would take control of the situation, taking the other brawlers by surprise and force them to bend to his will, sent a shiver down his spine.

“When you’re forty-seven…” Harry starts and Jean interrupts with a short bark of a laugh.
“When I’m forty-seven I’ll have been dead for ten years,” Jean says. He’s thirty-one and he’s in love, though he would not admit to that, not even under torture. “I’m in pain all the fucking time now, I can’t imagine a decade and a half plus of usage on this corpse.”
“You won’t be dead,” Harry assures, in this tone he has when he *knows*. “You’ll still be doing the weekend crossword, and I’ll be in the bed next to you, and I’ll be giving you all the fucking wrong answers just to piss you off.”
Jean’s gut trembles and he does what he does every time that feeling surges through him: slap Harry somewhere with the back of his hand.
“Sure, would love to see *me* bother with *you* for another fifteen years. We’ll strangle each other to death before we spend that much time together. You could never put up with me for that long.”
“What do you mean, of course I’ll put up with you, how could I not, you’re the only thing that…” Harry trails off to suck a hickey on Jean’s neck, and Jean doesn't push.

This fic takes place in the Glitchplex AU, it's an AU built so I can write the animatronics in fun scenarios to make them more relatable. They are anthro beings in this universe and their roles in the story mirror that of their universe. This fic will be an adaptation of the original FNAC Trilogy, of course taking some creative liberties to not be a 1 to 1 recreation in this AU. Or, you’re sent back in time, to almost two decades ago, by an arrogant entity with a saviour complex, which gives you a new life as an up-and-coming rockstar in the late 2000’s alternative scene. Despite being given everything the average joe would desire, your only priority is to claw your way back to 2025, and get far away from the leering hands of stardom, drugs, leeching tabloids and crushing expectations of Bush’s America. But as more pressing matters take a hold, and you’re pushed into the orbit of a thirty year old Gerard Way, the artist who you looked up to the most, you’re forced to consider what would happen if you chose to stay instead — and what unintended consequences that might entail.
