Every horrific event one witnesses, every dance with Death one manages to step away from claws itself into the mind, creating thoughts that make the moments between thundering cannon-fire and wailing dive bombers all the more frightful. Moments like these are the worst part of the fighting. Any man's courage will break under the glaring black eyes of enemy cannons ready to let loose a few thousand pounds of compact death unto them. All the while, the slab of metal that will pound you into fleshy nothing may have already begun its course....
