Summary
Takes place after season 1. After the Crackstone incident, Wednesday finds herself at the mercy of the Addams Family curse. It is well known that a man with a handsome fortune is bound to look for a wife. However, it is a mystery to the people of Jericho for a woman to come into their town, with a greater fortune than any man they know refuse all those who ask for her hand.
Wednesday Addams was viewed as too proud and above to be pleased. Her fortunes were unable to save her from the whispering campaign of the town about her manners. She does not care and does not mind her popularity being tied to dirt.
Still, it appears to the townspeople that Wednesday Addams is only concerned and affected by one person—Miss Enid Sinclair.

Wednesday Addams didn’t keep in touch; she kept tabs.
So when letters began to accumulate like kidney stones at the Addams Family estate, Wednesday didn’t deign a reply. She knew well from a glance who each letter was from. Was the envelope bedazzled in a myriad of colorful stickers? It was from Enid: saccharine and incessant with her updates. Did the very paper smell like honey? Eugene’s: probably with a picture of the colony enclosed. On rarer occasions, the mailing address was nearly illegible– from Ajax in a rush. Once, even, to Wednesday’s mild interest, an envelope with perfect calligraphy arrived– Bianca’s, despite her clear hesitance.
Today, however, a new envelope fell from Lurch’s hands. The paper was yellowed and plain. The sender, I.M. Hastings, unfamiliar.
Wednesday glanced at Thing beside her typewriter, “Perhaps I have gotten lucky today, and a foe has finally attempted to poison me with anthrax."

It’s a shame witches like her are supposed to choose familiars and Addams’s life partners. Still settling only for a familiar from a long extinct species is going to take some work. Fortunately her father is a ground floor investor with the biggest player in deextinction. At least it’ll take her decades before she has to bond a familiar.
