She met Kara, a journalist, and they became best friends for more than 2 years, even if her feelings for her has now changed into something deeper. She owns Catco and sometimes works with the DEO. Even if she has issues with Supergirl, she knows that the blond girl always wanted to protect her. Lena loves her new life and doesn’t want to change it. She wasn’t ready to face her past and thought this would never happen, until today.

Victory has never tasted so bittersweet before in Batwoman’s life. Years of battle with her mission for the betterment of her world seemed to finally be able to put to rest. The meta rouges were disposed of for taking her lover away from her. An all out war with the Atlanteans and the human race seemed to have been won because of Bryce redefining viciousness for them with the blood of their Queen. There would be no reason for them to continue to fight back. Not with Bryce willing to exterminate them for good. For once in her life, she finally felt that perhaps everything was looking up. At least she should feel that way. Would have if it wasn’t for one problem. An enemy that she had fought against since the early days she put on the cowl has decided to show herself after a yearlong absence. The Joker was back and with that fact there was sure to only be more bloodshed to follow.

Could anyone?” Batman glanced around the dead silent room as he let his words sink in. His blue gaze cold and lost to the past. Taking a short needed moment of silence before continuing, “Every day where you’re at his mercy? Where you have all his attention focused on only you? With his one goal being is to prove his ideology is true, that you thought you succeed in proving wrong? Now turn that one bad year into five. Would you have last? In my honest opinion you would have lasted six months at his worst and that’s me being generous.”
