Summary

They had done it. Shepard had managed to help Aria regain control of Omega. The mission had been harder than expected, with the sudden appearance of Nyreen and her arguments with Aria in which Shepard had to intervene more than once, now it was over. Aria's forces had suffered severe losses and so had Talon and Omega's inhabitants.
After dealing with Oleg, Shepard was ready to leave Aria to her own devices, after all, she had just lost Nyreen, and many of her forces not to mention she had to get Omega back in shape. But apparently Aria wasn't done with him, just yet.

Not the perfect ending, because there’s so much more that she wants to do, but if she had to die there, on the Citadel, that would have been when Shepard would have preferred to do it.
