Well, I heard that quote in Bioware's new teaser trailer and I *could not resist.* Set in an imagined setting for the upcoming DA game (Dread Wolf Rises) with a purposefully generic OC because, like, I am going off of very few concept hints here. Working off of the assumption that Solas is a villain, the OC doesn't like him much and is approaching him as a villain, but there are ~layers~
Anyways, great hate sex ensues. Villainous, brooding, angsty Solas is too good to pass up.

This is the conclusion to my fic "A Willing Sacrifice." Functionally, it's like a deleted scene/alternate ending for the very dark fic. However, it just didn't fit in the narrative quite like I wanted. So for anyone whose graciously suffered through the non-con extravagance, this is kind of like that kiss on the balcony at the end the 2005 "Pride and Prejudice." It's way more graphic though...
I also feel like it stands alone as a fun indulgence. Other than some dom/sub vibes and general roleplaying foreplay, it's all good, sort of clean fun! :)

Edit: I had about 200k words written down for this, and several outlines, and then my computer ate it. So this is suspended until further notice while I work on another fic that is hopefully better quality than this one.
I have no idea where this came from. I just started typing, and it sounded like a great idea. So there we go! I'm writing this for me, it's not beta read, nor is there an intended plot. I'm just seeing where it goes. It's kind of a test thing for me, see what I can do when I let myself fart out words instead of obsessing over them, which invariably has resulted in me abandoning the fic. Poly gayness abounds, hooray? Unless the characters write themselves different.
Also, if you read this, then be aware that it assumes you've played the games.
I'm aware of the tense issues. Not likely to fix em...and also, I am largely glossing over major events except in cases where things happen differently enough that I feel like writing em out. I'm not gonna force myself to get shit out.

This is part shameless self-insert because the Inquisitor is a true tabula rasa, part Solavellan Hell. Verrevan Lavellan (Revan for short, for whom I will be using randomly rotating pronouns she/him/they, if it's difficult to follow I'm sorry, but deal with it; also pronoun usage is sometimes outright intended to be ambiguous) is a mage and fiercely proud of their Dalish heritage. They also have big submissive and/or masochist energy and are learning to grapple with who they are and what they want as an individual versus who the Inquisition expects them to be and the monumental tasks before them, and trying to acclimatize to human society at the same time. LGBTQ themes will be woven throughout. Ableism will be discussed at length, as will issues of Anti-Elvhen racism, and Mageophobia (that's a word right?). If you think reverse oppression (ie: reverse racism) is real, this really isn't for you.
