Summary
Amira Shinra has always wanted to just live a normal life. Her Cetra birthright, unfortunately, keeps that from being the case -- Her father sees her as a pawn, and her brother as a competitor for their father's goodwill. She works as an Engineer in the Department of Urban Planning, under Reeve Tuesti, and does what she can to keep her head down. That's hard, when she's the daughter of the President, and is married to the Director of the Turks.
When the events of Final Fantasy VII begin to unravel in earnest, Amira finds herself at a crossroads -- and chooses to accompany her fellow Cetra, Aerith Gainsborough, SOLDIER Zack Fair, and Avalanche, as they hunt down Sephiroth through Gaia, her husband eventually joining them through some manipulations of his own. They follow the trail, hoping to figure out what he's up to, and stop him before he can destroy the world as they know it.

There are three Cetra left on the planet: Minerva, the embodiment of Gaia's will; Aerith, a perceptive, quirky healer with the Holy materia; and Sephya, a reckless, cocky black magic expert who knows more than she lets on.
The lives and duties of these three are linked, to each other and to the planet. They are cogs turning in a massive, intricate system.It all began with the accidental transfer of a lifetime of memories through the lifestream...
Aerith and Sephya live in relative peace with Elmyra in Midgar, but while they try to make the most of it despite the burdens on their shoulders, another of Gaia's neverending cycles is reaching its end, and Jenova is infecting the lifestream. Sephya sets things in motion by joining SOLDIER after years of planning, and the unlikely love she finds there will put everything at risk.

Amira Shinra, daughter of Rupert Shinra and his wife of Cetran descent, has always heard the voices of the Planet. Her brother, Rufus, has done everything he can to protect her, but even he can't protect her from their father and Hojo's machinations. After rescuing her from them, they stage a coup, and become the Co-Presidents of the Shinra Electric Power Company, with the goal of moving toward an energy source sustainable for the Planet.
With her lover, Tseng, the Director of the Turks, at her side, Amira feels like everything is going to plan. Unfortunately, Jenova makes her play, with Sephiroth as her puppet, and Amira, along with her fellow Cetra and dear friend Aerith Gainsborough, must stop them before they destroy the Planet.
There's romance, friendship, shenanigans for good and for ill, and adventures around the world of Gaia as Amira, Aerith and company hunt Sephiroth. After all, the fate of the planet rests in their hands.
