Summary
After the fatal tragedy of April. 15th, 1912 the sinking of the famous Titanic, the descendants of Jack Dawson seem to have the worst of luck, hoping to change that Armie H Dawson sends his son Oliver Dawson to Spain in hopes to save his son from the clutches of a Jack the Ripper copycat, giving him a better chance at making a living for himself with a change of career. So he sends Oliver aboard the Olympic, the sister ship of the Titanic, with a confidence, and a sense of adventure and opportunity that he will end their family’s curse. However, it would seem that history is doomed to repeat itself, when Oliver meets Elio B Chalamet, a man of wealth and beauty, a socialite, the son of Timothee H Chalamet, known to the world as “the desert rose” and who is to be engaged to another for the sake of status, much like his beloved great ancestor Rose Dewitt Bukater, he longs to be his own person and get away from the reputation that brings about wealth in his family. So he decides to run away from his soon to be wife by sneaking onto the Olympic, and the two begin a passionate love affair that could only be for Oliver disaster? Or so he thinks, when The Olympic ends up sharing the same fate as the beloved “ship Of dreams”
