Noise has always liked different kinds of music. The weirder or less traditional, the better. Youngblood has been with him on this for as long as he can remember, and the two of them very much enjoy making strange music together.
Unfortunately, the Bard King is not as big a fan of it. And when Youngblood decides to run off and leaves Noise alone with him, they’ll discover just how little of a fan he is, and just how much that can affect them.

The Bard College did not tolerate weakness of any kind – and Djembe was slow to discover exactly what counted as weakness here. But amid the casual cruelty of the other bards, he found a rock to cling to: the friendship between two students in the grade below him.
From a distance, Djembe watched the rise of Youngblood the First Chair, and the fall of Youngblood the person.
But no matter how powerless you may feel, there is always something to be done. Hope grows from the cracks in the Bard King’s ostentatious veneer. And in a system that values the power of individuals above all else, human connection can become a rebellion.

he laid on his old bed that puffed with dust exhausted, he rolled when a small crinkling sound made itself heard. he sat up fast. he grabbed the sheets away and saw one white envelop addressed to him. He knew that handwriting very well, it was Youngblood's.
with a pounding heart he grabbed it slowly, gently lifting it to his shaking hands as if it was brittle, and it might just be. he might just be imagining things since he is very exhausted but he clearly isn't. The letter was very real and had been here the entire time with the collecting dust on the untouched bed moments earlier.
