This is the story of the War to Take Back the Planet, told from the perspective of Gadget the Wolf. It's been nearly a year since Sonic returned to Camelot and became King Arthur. While it was certainly an adjustment for the blue hero he's found that he enjoys it most days. Though it honestly has more to do with his sexy advisor than the actual work. Sonic was never one to slow down, not for anything in his life so having to hold himself back from scaring Lancelot away forever was a fairly difficult challenge. One he was willing to undergo as Lancelot would be well worth it once he got him to open up. Though with the recruits showing up for training and review to be added to their army should the Lord of the neighbouring kingdom decide he no longer wanted to keep their strained peace any longer, something everyone was sure was just around the corner, Lancelot was becoming distant again. Not that he had opened up much over the last year but they were at least talking and not just as king and advisor but almost friends. This problem is the one that has Sonics heart reeling, thinking he'd done something to push his love away despite having no idea what that could have been.

This was inspired by Shades365’s 'Sonic's Alpha' on Wattpad. You can find this story on Wattpad and all their other stories. I love this story and I thought of a version I really want to do. That story was the structure of this story.
In this story, you will meet many of my OCs but many of these characters are not mine, the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog own them. The person who will be taking Sonic’s role is a Butterfly/Hedgehog hybrid named Sapphire. Sapphire is the former princess of the Mini Worlds. She is the oldest daughter of Vanessa the Butterfly, the creator of zones. Because of this Sapphire can use any zone’s special power source, examples: chaos emeralds, sol emeralds, etc. When she was 5 her home was blown up and she, her sisters, and the other royal children were sent to the main zone; the zone where this story takes place.
