“You’ve been doing great Lasko, nobody can beat you.” Jordan said, Gavin’s other hand resting on her waist. She smiled at him, genuinely, teasingly, and it made his heart pound in his chest, the sweat starting to form on his hands again.
Gavin chuckled and rubbed the back of Lasko’s hand, making the butterflies in his stomach go wild. He shifted in his spot, resting his hand on Gavin’s thigh.
“Alright,” Jordan said, putting her controller down and getting up from Gavin’s lap. Gavin looked displeased by the loss of warmth, but let her go nonetheless. “I think I’m done for the day, but you can play Gavin,” Her eyes flicked over to Lasko, and he lifted his gaze to make eye contact with her, “I’m gonna be busy doing something.”
