So many hopeful souls, all vying either to be remembered, or to accomplish what all of their kind should be striving for.
To become Elden Lord, above all else, and repair the golden order.Moss does not know what he is supposed to be. He knows he should strive to become the Elden Lord, like everyone else.
But coming to the lands as a tarnished, with the telltale glow of gold missing from his darkened eyes, he feels like something more is missing, then just gold.

Death has become lazy. Complete control over the deaths of all beings across the multiverse has become tiring, so it has decided to simply not care as much anymore. Satan, the ruler of Hell, agrees, and has decided to join Death in a joint retirement. As such, Hell will be soon to fall into complete anarchy if a leader is unable to rise up and take control.
To find such a leader, a king among sinners, the Grim Reaper has decided to create a competition of sorts. Whoever can defeat Satan and steal his most prized possession, the Wax-Tipped Wing, becomes the new King of Hell. And whoever becomes King of Hell stays so for the rest of all eternity.

And given it's goal, it chose one of the worst people to drag into the Lands Between; A Path Of The Dragon loyalist.
