Eito leaned in close, too close for Takumi’s comfort as the former grabbed his cheeks. There’s faint tear marks down his eyes as he whispered. “Save them this time, or I’m going to control you once more when you wake and kill you myself.”
Takumi screamed as searing hot pain went through his body. Eito faded with him, closing his eyes for what may be the last time.In the middle of his second scenario, Takumi had chosen to kill Eito instead, which lead to him sharing his consciousness. He had turned back time just a bit to spare him, and continued on with the second scenario. By the end of this timeline, Takumi was ready to die with all his friends' hopes and dreams, yet Eito was unwilling, using Shion and his own cryptoglobin to send Takumi back in time for a third giant leap.
Now, Takumi has to navigate a third scenario, overcome unbidden feelings and reunite with old friends in order to ensure the peace of both humanity and Futurans alike. -

He’s sure of it, because his heart is pounding in his chest, loud enough to drown out whatever anyone is saying, because his entire life has narrowed down into one pinprick of a focus point.

The satellite was destroyed there was no point in anything but takumi decided to stop the rockets from launching anyway him and the team (except nozomi) stopped the rockets from launching by destroying them... But after he destroyed the rockets and killed the baby the system broke down and flung him into the school yard in nozomi's arms and in his final breath...

On Day 11 of the Steady Fundamental Timeline, Hiruko reveals the truth to Takumi - that they both have been stuck in a time loop for at least 40 years. Instead of remembering the Slasher, Box of Calamity, or Mystery Timelines, however, Takumi remembers an alternate version of the 2nd Scenario, taking place after the events of Goodbye Eito. Without Eito's power, Takumi fails his final mission, and both the SDU and Futurum were eradicated.
With these memories and all the unresolved trauma of failing his friends not once but twice, Takumi resolves to protect the Special Defense Unit by any means necessary - even if it means they wind up hating him. Meanwhile, a hopelessly devoted Hiruko is left to face the terrifying possibility that the man she loves, the one person tethering her to her own sanity, might as well be dead underneath this cold, hardened version of himself. Just like always, telling anyone about her own pain winds up with them getting hurt.
