After spending all his time at Fosters, Mac, as he grew older, slowly got tired of visiting the home. He loved Bloo and all the friends at Fosters dearly, but as his mom said, "You're a big boy now." His visits ceased and he focused on his education. Growing up, without the friends at Fosters. He soon left the town to pursue a career, abandoning his true friend, Bloo. Little did he know, his disappearance would leave a bigger impact than he imagined.

Goo had gone off to college, studying some course Bloo couldn’t bring himself to care or remember.
What he does remember, however, was Mac, who had moved out of state for school and promised to come back.Well, ten years of waiting for him suddenly caught up to Bloo, and not in a good way.

Imaginary Friends must have some sort of contact with their creator, or a human in general. Without it, the imaginary friend will start to… lose itself. Lose it’s sense of personality, it’s purpose, it’s mind. This process, documented by Madame Foster and Mr. Herriman, is called ‘Inking’, where the friend will be consumed by an ink-like substance, granting a hostile and horrific personality to the friend. It is said the most a friend can go without seeing or interacting with a human is about ten years.

Frankie is 40 with a wife (Chi) and 2 children (Yuzuki and Max) being ages 8 and 12 and after the passing of her grandmother madam foster over 10 years ago, she now runs and operates the place by herself along with her wife. With all of the others being adopted and gone (wilt being the last of them getting adopted), Bloo is the only one left of the gang to not be adopted mainly because he refuses to give himself up. Most parts of himself have left him except for his ever-still-living love for his best friend Mac.
