Luke Carder, after learning the characters of Inscryption are 1. Sentient, living digital beings and 2. In a constant turf war over something that has the capability to convert the game from a pixel RPG to a first-person 3D card game (and can destroy the world), he tries to find a way to pause their fighting for at least enough time to fix the things going on in the real world.
Turns out, swapping sprite sheets does more than just confuse the Scrybes.

Disclaimer: I have not played or watched a playthrough of Grimora’s Mod, so any overlap or similarity is purely coincidental.
This story was designed to exist in the world of Inscryption wherein another lucky (or unlucky depending on if Gamefuna finds them) player got an extra bit of lore in a defective version of Inscryption wherein the beginning in a three dimensional environment is being run by Grimora instead of Leshy. Luke Carder's big mistake was that he was alone in all of this. P03's big mistake was that he thought he covered every base. Life doesn't offer many redos- but it certainly has given everybody, even the guy who got shot in the head, a second chance.

Becoming sentient was a rather unique experience for everyone in the end. Maybe there had even been a time when this endless loop of suffering wasn't as bad, and maybe there was a time where they could get along.
There was a reason, anyways, why P03 buried G0lly so deep down.

After her disappearance, after she stopped showing up to play your game, it’s sad to say that you, the almighty Scrybe of Beasts, was sad. You felt alone. Until one day, a little glitch in the system came stumbling into your world, clearly not supposed to be there, not even a part of the game, and you again were not alone. But this time something was different, and their risk is real. You never expected the danger that followed once you decided to take the little one in under your care.
TLDR: Leshy adopts a child who isn’t supposed to be in the game and shenanigans ensue.

The moon shone brightly over the factory, a lovely ocean underneath the two of them as they enjoyed the view from the railing. P03's fans worked softly, while the woman breathed, calm as well.
So different, yet similar in the end.
- So... What do we do?- she spoke, trying to search for his guidance yet... The situation was too messy
- It's one of the few times nothing is automated for me I suppose.
She chuckled softly, about to say something to annoy him. They ran out of plans, and it showed.
Suddenly the railing disappeared, afterwards some towers, some big stones from the rocky coast vanished despite of their size. The world was ending around them.
But they didn't care.
