Summary
After getting kicked out of Tuefort, the TF2 mercs are tasked by an anonymous employer with guarding incoming intelligence in a big creepy house. This assignment, little do they know, will be the toughest one yet, as past trauma and baggage begin to unravel.
This story was made as epilogue lore to a roleplay that my friend had. It’s set in 2034 (all the game dates have been adjusted so that the characters are the right age.)
Not strictly following cannon.

Summary
It's really, really hard to find a legal therapist willing to work with the MannCo mercs. So the solution? Find one that never got his license. It's fool proof- until you reveal that you know more about him than he'd like. Oh well, someone was bound to kill you eventually. May as well be the twink that lives in crop tops and wants to personally strangle the Spy.

Summary
"All things that begin, must end."
He had told them that the day after they had received the harsh, death-ridden news that would slip into their peaceful life like a Spy, it's knife poised to bring them down into a shuddering corpse. Except this time, the Spy couldn't be burnt, for fire wouldn't drive away this invisible foe. Nothing could drive away death, as it would now claim them with open arms, as there was no respawn to hold it back.
Now, three months later, they could feel the grip of death's hand on their back as they followed the BLU Spy through the undergrowth. Every part of them itched to light the Spy on fire, watch them try to run as the flames crawled up them and burnt them for the sins that those of his kind had committed- but the looming shadow of reality remained. The reality that they would be alone, if it was not for the Spy in front of them.
---
A story in which the RED Pyro and the BLU Spy are abandoned on Mercenary Park by their teams after they are presumed dead. As they race against the clock to return to their teams, they come across an unsettling discovery and must choose between unearthing the truth or taking the mystery to their graves.

It's amazing. I truly love this fic.
Pyro and Spy's interaction and dynamic is a treat to read. It feels solid, laced with suspicion and fear. They keep dancing around each other. The suspicion and distrust between the two is done really well, it also keeps up. Consistently and skillfully.
Spy is characterized real swell. He's snarky (not too much tho), mysterious (per usual), and surprisingly tolerant. But his tolerance, I think is purely motivated by fear. Pyros do hunt Spies after all.
He's not insufferable or too soft and dandy. It's a complexe balance and I live for it.Pyro's character, I think is done exceptionally excellent! They're not portrayed as a soft, little pyromantic child (i don't have problem with soft pyro, but i do like the change of pace!) . They're serious and act like an actual mercenary, but they do have childness sprinkled here in there. It's such a lovely blend.
Pyroland is done amazingly well. It's very visual and insane. It's so real... I think it's done magnificently.Author's very, very good at painting a picture. It's very vivid (least to me). The details are astounding! The plot is also interesting and keeps up.
I adore such skills and artistic visuals. Even if it never gets finished, I'll still keep it close.
*remember to check on it sometimes. not giving up hope yet,
