Cameron gripped him by his arms and picked him up. Meanwhile, David clutched at his chest and closed his eyes tightly trying to will his heart to stop beating so fast, and his body temperature to quit rising. Cameron threw an arm around David's shoulder as he pulled him close, while David stomped his feet and bit his bottom lip so hard that Cameron could've sworn that he saw blood. "Davey! Don't worry! I have the perfect opportunity, it's a new business venture I've been cooking up on the side, if you win, the money you'll get will be more than enough to run the camp for as long as you'd like!"
David took deep breaths, and once he got his breathing under control, he blinked his tears away. He looked up at Cameron with watery eyes and sniffled.
"...Really...?"
