There was just something about him. Something about his constant professionalism, the way he was always in control, the way that even with blood on his face and bruises on what little skin he left exposed, he still seemed nigh untouchable. Cold. Immaculate.
Combine that with his snark and intelligence, the few brief glimpses of Stephen’s truer, warmer self beneath the façade, and it made Tony want to pry him open.
