With war looming between Paradis and what's left of the world and a mission to carry out peace negotiations, Jean must fulfill his promise to Eren and be there for Mikasa for when she begins to move on. With the death of her most beloved and three years of separation between Mikasa and the rest of the team, Jean is unsure whether she will accept him. But a promise is a promise, and the affection Jean carries in his heart for her has not wavered.
