Mercury opened both eyes and suddenly wound both legs around his hoop, sitting upright as comfortably as though he sat on a swing; he studied the boy in front of him curiously, narrowing his eyes just a little.
“You’re a clown.” He said, looking him up and down again. “No, no, you’re an acrobat.”
“I- I’m a fire performer.” He replied, captivated by the glow behind his dark eyes. “Fire eating, mostly.”
“Does it make your mouth hot?” He asked, leaning forward, throwing the muscles in his arms into sharp relief; the smirk on his face was wicked, his attention focused as though his gaze could start a fire like a sunbeam through glass.

Written for my DL server Bingo Card for the prompt Social Media AU. Also an AU in which we have Freddie and Jim with us in current times!
It took me ages to finally pull something together for this prompt, but this was fun to write, once it finally came to me! If there’s interest and I can get my WIP list managed again, I might consider writing a follow-up in the future, especially if folks are interested!

Written for my DL server Bingo Card prompt: Hostile Climate. Set in like 1986ish, in what I’m gonna go ahead and say is an AU of some kind, only because I’m not noting like a formal setting (like a certain city) or anything in this thing; this is just Happening and we get to know about it, and the other details are irrelevant for the moment at least.
The lads are in the studio, supposed to be recording. But why record when you could just all get really frustrated and overtired and fussy and whine and yell at each other about stuff instead?
I mean they probably should just like take naps or something but instead they’re gonna do all this.
TW for arguing. A lot of it. Not in that anyone is like throwing any hard hits; no one is actually all that mad; they’re just frustrated as fuck and taking it out on each other. But regardless, if fics where folks do argue in any way is not your jam, then maybe avoid this one.
