Jane just wanted to live normally, to survive in the brutal town that hated her and her sister for existing. After several tragedies and deaths, Jane goes after the one person responsible for this, and ends up waking up in Forsaken.

He knew damn well the admins would be on his ass if they knew of their odd friendship, but he had it under control.. somewhat.
Day after day, they see each other one way or another. Maybe John could start to go out of his way to see the hacker? Or would it just be another thought to push away for another time?

this is a very short fic inspired from that once scene in ‘I Blame You, John!’ where the spectre keeps Jane from being in the same round as John because he keeps stopping and falling in love with her all over again. I wrote this in like an hour and one of my friends said it was good so here you go :) title from Adrianne Lenker’s song of the same name! oh also ‘it’ and ‘him’ represent the corruption and John Doe respectively
