The Mystery Twins go to the local Gravity Falls Mall to apply for jobs.
Mabel gets a job at Michelle’s while Dipper lands a job at Heated Theme.
While working at the Mall the twins grow fond of their jobs and learn responsibility.
Unfortunately for Dipper across from Heated Theme there’s a store called Stephanie’s. The employee’s there call themselves the Nightmare Crew. Their leader being a handsome devil named Bill Cipher. They go and pick on the poor boy while stealing away the customers from Heated Theme.
Mabel loves her job at Michelle’s. It’s her cup of tea and the customers that come into the shop always look for her when they need something. Her girlfriend Pacifica Northwest sometimes enters the store to take her to lunch or visit while on her shopping spree/break from lunch. Mabel sometimes even visits Dipper on her breaks. Her friends Grenda and Candy also visit with her.
Grunkle Stan is the owner of Mystery Pawn in the mall with his two favorite employees, Soos and Wendy. They swindle everyone who comes to the pawn shop. When Summerween rolls around they turn part of the shop into a mini haunted house scaring the living daylights out of the customers.

Semi-inspired by EmberGlows and HyruleHalfbreed's fic, "In Irons and Gold." Trying to look for a way to break his curse, Dipper ends up being captured by the infamous Captain Bill Cipher. Not realizing that they're looking for the same thing- not that Dipper ever really plans on telling him- Bill and his co-captain (and former lover) force Dipper to help them find what they're all looking for. The clock is ticking as they only have three months to get what they want or else wait another hundred years, along with being pursued by both the navy and another ship on a quest for the exact same thing, it's a race to the finish.
