“You will leave for Jamir,” Genbu doesn’t ask, it’s very obvious what Kiki plans to do. But even though he knows, Genbu still just wants explicit confirmation from his mate (lover, partner, companion, spouse, other half, soulmate).
Kiki puts down the bag -most likely filled with various necessities- on the small table and holds Genbu’s gaze. “You can come with me and Raki,” Kiki says, he walks over to Genbu and gently holds Genbu’s hands.
It almost sounded like he was begging Genbu. Kiki’s purple eyes looked pleading, and Genbu had to mentally scold himself so he wouldn’t give in to Kiki’s puppy eyes.
“We need to know what Olybrius wants,” Genbu said instead, shaking his head slightly. “And you could be declared as a traitor if you leave, so will I if I leave with you abd Raki. I don’t want to abandon our goal of finding out what’s going on,”
