Summary
A young Detective Sargeant joins Daniel's unit, and it suddenly becomes apparent that they're linked. By who, and how, exactly? The two become close colleagues, friends, even. Respect is earned, slowly but surely. Perhaps one day she could be the very thing to help him move on from being a lost, heartbroken widower. He still loves his wife, but perhaps it's time to find some happiness again. He never fully healed from the tragedy of her loss. He isn't ready to leave the police force just yet, either. There's still work to be done.
