Now, any normal person would likely panic during this situation. Thinking about how they could survive in a world that is structured around magic while being filled by otherworldly creatures and beings, while also unable to possess any forms of magic to protect themselves. However, Yukiri isn’t just any normal person.
Yukiri is indeed a ‘magicless’ student attending college for future mages. But that doesn’t excuse the weird things that happen around them.

After being rejected a dorm by the Dark Mirror they end up staying in ramshackle along with Grim, though with their talented magic and problem solving skills they earn themselves a spot as a student, with their monster friend being labeled as Yuu's familiar in order for him to be allowed in the school.
Though the question still stands: will Yuu ever find their way home?

In Night Raven College, there is a peculiar individual that roams its halls that never fails to mystify it's students. During the years that she has been employed here, none can say with certainty what her job actually is. They are a handyman, a custodian, a secretary, a librarian, a teacher, a coach, a counselor, and when needed, a bodyguard. One thing is for certain though, they are the silent right hand of the schools even more enigmatic Headmage, Dire Crowley, and one of the few individuals blessed with the skills to manage him.
However, this year she finds herself at the end of her rope with her boss. The Headmage has changed. While he was always an inconstant man, his recent behavior is too erratic to fully ignore. Suddenly burdened with a new and suspicious task of monitoring select students the Headmage has chosen, Yuu must choose between easy lies and hard truths.
(ON HIATUS: In light of recent canon, and my own writing style changing, I have decided to rewrite this. Nothing will change much about the current chapters in terms of story structure, but they will be altered to reflect the new plotline I have conceived. The fic page will not be deleted, simply rewritten.)
