Summary
Since Emergence Day, the residents of Sera have been paying the price for the last four teen years of fighting upon a planet ruined by nearly an entire generation of continuous war. Humanity has come under siege from an underground, subterrian menace known as the Locust Horde who are hellbent on planetary extinction with crumbled buildings and ruined monuments looming over the battlefield as somber reminders of what Gears fight for. In the end, they're able to detonate the Lightmass Bomb, a powerful weapon that seemingly destroys the Horde. Unfortunately, the detonation has ignited the Imulsion in the soil, creating a toxic environment for the human survivors with the Horde soon striking back.
With the Locust Horde surviving the Lightmass Offensive at Timgad, The Coalition must re-build its Army and strength to take their fight to the Locust by any means necessary. They must mobilize their entire population for the war effort once more. But while the last human stronghold on Sera braces itself for another onslaught from the Locust Horde, Delta and Ion Squad must work alongside Stranded militias as the growing Locust menace engulfs Tyr, and its survivors, with Marcis Fenix, a traitor, leading the charge.
