Gyrus gets cursed and Kodya has to constantly touch him to apply a counterspell or something. Gyrus ends up staying up late researching and Kodya gets tired so Gyrus lets him sit in his lap and take a nap.

So, yeah, there's a big prophecy that Gyrus is destined to unleash some great evil on the world. Kodya doesn’t care – they’ve already saved the world once.
Then, in the middle of a prophecy reading, Gyrus explodes into a cloud of shadow, taking twelve of the other campers with him. In his place is Gyrus from three years ago – from before he and Kodya got together, from before his pattern of strange disappearances and a mysterious black box he had brought back from a mission a few days before the incident. And he doesn’t remember anything except that his soul isn’t dead – yet.
So Kodya does what any normal person would do and drags his amnesiac not-yet-boyfriend to the underworld to get back his soulmate’s soul.
Oh, and he only has two days.
But no pressure or anything.
