Cassie huffs in annoyance, crossing her arms across her chest. The whole thing was shaping up to be the worst idea ever. She had originally accepted because she was intrigued and kind of wanted to know what everyone from her graduating class had been up to, that you couldn’t infer from social media. She also thought it might be fun.
But now, she’s been abandoned by Maddy — who backed out at the last minute, not that she could really blame her — and she’s attending with her boyfriend whom she hasn’t really spoken to for over a week.
