Summary
Nico di Angelo was raised Catholic, so naturally, meeting the Greek, then the Roman gods, came as a bit of a shock. He'd come to the conclusion that the Christian god was just one of many, but he couldn't give up his faith. It was the only thing that he felt connected him to his mother. Despite the trauma he'd faced as a child, the Church had a sense of nostalgia to it.
Jaelyli, another demigod raised Roman Catholic, has just returned from Tartarus. She seems to be stuck in her mind a lot. Nico makes an offhanded comment about church. He had no idea that would be the key to 'unlocking' her.
The two half-siblings explore their trauma (religious and otherwise) together in a story about faith and healing.
