It's no fun ACTUALLY being god's favorite. Especially when that god is a blustering would-be auteur looking to scoop out your free will, and make you into a sycophantic member of his eternal audience. Maybe Lee should kiss him about it.
Anyway, here's a collection of comics about them.

Summary
“Oof!” Lee smacked his face into another invisible wall, and Diegesis snickered—then laughed loudly when Lee ran into it again.
“Oh, were you expecting me to remove that?”

Summary
“I earned this victory, Liam. It is time for me to claim the spoils. I was generous enough to give you a full week to recover—”
Liam’s face had been buried in his knees, but he uncurled enough to fix Diegesis with a glare.
Do I look like I recovered???
“...You look like garbage.”
(Or: Lee gets sick after Game 2, and Diegesis tries to work around this poorly-plotted twist in their narrative.)

Summary
“Yes, Liam,” Diegesis enthused. “That’s exactly it.” He leaned forward, looking hungry in a way that made the part of Lee with terrible taste in partners want to tilt his head up, offer his neck, and find out if that smile was as sharp as it looked.
Hell, for as long as he’d been in Diegesis’ study, wrapped in a blanket of his creation and wreathed with the scent of incense burned in his honor… Lee probably tasted a bit like cinnamon.
And, watching the way Diegesis' eyes and smile widened, that thought alone had probably been a dangerous choice.
A bit of playing in the space for that additional seven hours until noon - plus the five extra. And let's not forget the fifty-nine seconds.

Summary
It's hard to rest when trapped in a life-or-death competition with a god, Lee's come to find out.
It's been a few days since he's showered, or slept, or even had a proper meal, and that deprivation has started to take its toll.
Of course, Diegesis couldn't have that. What good is a story if the protagonist was about to pass out the whole time? So, the Ideal resolves to make Lee relax—whether he wants to or not.

Summary
"We're not in my hallow, Liam. I'm not about to manipulate you or the situation into giving me something you don't want to give. That would break the rules of our wager, wouldn't it?" Niles was still smiling at him, and now it contained no smug curl or challenge. "After all, I'm Niles right now, remember? I am, in your own words, a plain old human who sat down for an evening of family-friendly splatter films."
Well... when he put it like that...

Lee wins the first match against Diegesis. After a long night of subjecting him to mediocre films and games, he wakes up in a God's arms, considers the dangers of having sex with a God, and basically thinks, "fuck it. why the hell not."

Summary
It starts as a silly idea. That’s what Lee tells himself, thinking it couldn’t possibly work like that. Yes, Diegesis said he needed to consume praise or prayer, but he probably meant a completely different kind of praise.
He was very, very wrong.

Lee thinks of a silly solution to Diegesis' starvation situation: Outsource the work to horny strangers on the internet!
