Frisk is having nightmares and anxiety relating to their past before the fall. Of course, they do not want to tell anybody, or bring it up. Their new monster family can tell that something is a bit off about them sometimes, and know to avoid certain topics. Of course, Frisk can't just keep running from their past forever. Sans and Toriel can only do so much for their new child, and Asgore can only offer so much tea. Everyone tries to be supportive of each other. Their family may not be perfect by any means, but that won't stop everybody from being together.

Summary
All in the Underground know of the legend of the angel, the being said to come and save them all. The prophecy came true with Frisk, but seldom is the second half of the story spoken of.
Six Human souls, trapped deep in the Earth. A seventh, the catalyst to them all. The souls awakened with the breaking of the barrier, but now wander with no master. Yet they are drawn to a beacon, a person who once housed another’s soul.
A Human whose Magic was as rare as it was precious: the power to hear their cries. That kind of power, it is said that even an angel could fall trying to bear it. Maybe there was a reason, that only Monsters still knew of Magic.

Summary
The underground if full of bloodthirsty monsters that want their revenge on the humans on the surface for trapping them down in the mountain of Ebott. Their leader, Asgore, vows to free his people by killing seven humans and extracting their souls and absorbing them, becoming a god and being able to break the Barrier.
Many humans fall down, six in total until they stop coming.
Little do the monsters know, there is a human by the name of Frisk in the underground who lives in the ruins thanks to the two goat monsters, Toriel and Asriel. The human lives in the ruins for years upon years going undetected.
Enter our main character, the eighth human, Chara. A human who was pushed down into the mountain, Ebott. Falling into the underground.. they then look for a way out. This is how the story begins.

No, seriously. I think I should take offense and you can take defense. I’m awful at dodging, I always have this instinct to, like, punch the bullets or something, and then I just end up hurting myself and it’s embarrassing for everyone involved. We can be a team.--
Frisk has a voice in their head, a promise to keep, and a soul full of determination. But Chara is hiding something, the promise involves doing what all six fallen humans have failed to do, and their soul is calling up the ghosts of the other kids that fell into the Underground before them. It's not looking like an easy ride. -

You took a deep, shaky breath, and opened your arms. You saw surprise, acceptance, and then a bittersweet smile flit across his face. He took a step forward, ready to accept your hug. You closed your eyes, unwilling to see the look on his face as you ducked beneath his arm as fast as you could and made a break for the cave. Twenty feet. Fifteen feet. Ten feet. Five feet. Four. Three. Two. One.
You made it. Five feet to the hole. Three steps. Time slowed around you and you counted each one, your breath puffing out when your feet hit the ground. Two steps. You heard a shout behind you, a muffled word, distorted in your ears. You ignored it. One.

It was a simple spring day, the song birds chirped away, the shining sun bathed suburbia in its warmth, on a lovely day like this you were getting out of this hellhole. You hated living in this city, and despite it being so early into the day, enough had happened to make you give in and run away. You gathered up everything important and got on the first bus out of town. Shortly after getting on yourself, a kid got on the bus by themselves and takes the seat next to you.
And it was about then that life threw you another unwanted curve ball. In a very short amount of time you and your new travel companion would find yourselves falling into a place straight out of a fairytale. One with monsters around every corner.
What will it take to see the sunlight again? Better yet, what will it take to survive long enough to see it again? And is getting back to the Surface really worth it in the end? Ugh! This is too much to deal with right now. And to think your bad day all started with a stupid hair cut.
