Summary
A collection of one-shots set over the course of SkekVar and his Emperor's relationship.
SkekVar is a soldier, he understands that his courtship of the Emperor is a siege not a battle. Nothing will be decided decisively, it is not a battle of force or numbers, it is a slow, painful wearing down of the enemies resistance.
The Emperor does not harbour any particular affections for his General, not at all. Nope. No favouritism, no preferential treatment. He doesn't care for SkekVar at all.-

After witnessing Mira being drained by the Skeksis, Rian is captured before he can convince his fellow gelfling of the truth. The Skeksis have branded him a murderer and popular opinion agrees, but the All-Maudra insists on a fair trial. Though he is now the most hated gelfling in Thra, he is not completely alone. His best friend strives to prove his innocence, a princess is determined to find the truth, and a stranger from Grot believes in him. Together, they may be able to save, not only Rian's life, but the lives of all gefling.

Life in the Castle of the Crystal isn't easy, especially for the captain of the guard and his son. Rian struggles to ease his boredom while staying out of trouble. Ordon strives to balance raising his son with his duties as captain. Both seem to come up short, however they may try.
But, when Ordon decides to start Rian's sword training early, they may find a way to connect with each other and bond as father and son. -

Rian is a warrior of the Stonewood guard, betrothed since his childhood to wed Maudra Fara's successor. Deethra was hand-chosen at a young age by Maudra Argot herself to become the next Grottan Maudra, and has trained most of her life for the role.
But when the growing threat of Arathim jeopardizes all that these two hold dear, they agree to an unusual solution in order to unite their alienated clans together: An arranged marriage.
Though each gelfling is willing to do what they must for sake of their clans, they are certain that the relationship itself is bound to be a loveless disaster. After all, who ever heard of a Stonewood and a Grottan together? It could never work...could it?

He whipped his head to the side to see his barrack partner asleep on his bed. He..he could hardly believe it. He was back! But...what could he do? And, more importantly, who would ever believe the him without thinking he'd gone mad?

Brea expected her first Seven Clans Summit would be nothing more than a wonderful chance to expand her knowledge. She never imagined it could bring so much romantic drama with it. After chance encounter before the Welcome Ball, Deet, Brea's very close friend, falls quickly and deeply in love with the Stonewood warrior, Rian.
Though they seem the perfect match, it does come with some drawbacks, such as Seledon constantly meddling in the name of improved inter-clan relations, or Brea needing to entertain Rian's insufferable friend, Rek'yr, so the couple can spend time alone. Brea feels it is worth it to see her friend so happy, even if Rek'yr won't stop looking at her so strangely.
However, things may not be going as well as they appear. Emotions swell, hearts threaten to break, and poor first impressions leave their mark. But, if pride can be set aside and prejudices overcome, perhaps this tangled mess can lead to a happy ending after all.
(Look, it's gelfling Pride & Prejudice, alright? You know what you're getting into.)
