From there, the two Gelfling find themselves on a perilous journey to find the mysterious and legendary floating island of Thra. Along the way, they must team up with a ragtag crew of sky pirates who seek to unearth Thra's treasures and must evade the Skeksis who seek to control Thra's destructive automaton armies.
And perhaps they'll find something else between them, something more precious and powerful than anything Thra could possess.

He whipped his head to the side to see his barrack partner asleep on his bed. He..he could hardly believe it. He was back! But...what could he do? And, more importantly, who would ever believe the him without thinking he'd gone mad?
