Tommy is Death.
A short three word sentence, simple in presentation but so much more complicated beyond it.
He isn't human, and it's his duty, as has been allowed by the universe, to draw spirits from the dark, from dirt and flesh, to guide and love and protect, and he hasn't always been like this, but that's a story for another time.
For now, Tommy is Death, and he is who guides creatures into rest but doesn't choose when they die, and he is kind, is love, is the shepherd, the protector, the warden of all life and that which is beyond it.
And for a time, that was enough. That was all.

Tommy was known to be the loud and cheerful kid. That kid that doesn't know how to shut his damn mouth shut. That kid everyone just can't help but love this annoying ball of sunshine. The kid that successfully fooled everyone he knows.
Tommy was loud because it proved to be a distraction, he was cheerful to hide his observing eyes. If he played the naive kid long enough, then that would be his identity for as long as they know him. He's not new to this game, he's already won way too many of them.

Tommy had just been walking around Snowchester. He was bored and need a walk, Tubbo was out of town, so he could travel without running into him. It was good to clear his head, he needed it after everything. As he was traveling around, he didn't expect to have his pant leg pulled by a tiny hand. He looked down, seeing a baby zombie piglin, he pressed his eyebrow together.

It was too late, as Tommy was reminded of the warmth he felt when Wilbur hugged him. He wouldn’t be proud of this.
As he took his final breath, only inhaling lava, he realized this wasn’t the warmth he craved.

Summary
This place was nothing short of absolute hell, the warm memories that he associated with it far gone.
They had washed away, just like the grandeur of having a family. The first few years were great, sure, but the shine dulled as the time dragged on. The constant companionship of Phil and Techno faded as the two went on more and more adventures away from home, figuring that Wilbur was more than adept at taking care of Tommy. He was left to fend for himself, with a young kid that was too used to just staying alive instead of being a kid.
Tommy hasn't ever been good at figuring out where home is. These are the five times that he loses his home and the one time he actually gains one that he knows he won't lose.
5 + 1 fic in which I really fail at being good at writing and maybe write OOC Tommyinnit which he can't find home lol, but we had some fun failing at it for the writer's block valentines' day writing thing

Everything was a blur, really. He could remember it if he really tried. But that made his head hurt, and his body shake. So he preferred not to. He could remember the shapes. And he could remember how he felt. But there really was no context to how he got here.
In prison.
At least that's what he’d been told it was. He wasn’t even aware that it was built. He’d come to a few hours after he was placed inside and… well he kinda freaked out.
Clay was never one to be overly anxious. But coming to in an entirely obsidian room, with lava, no access to the outside world, well. He kinda made a fuss.
Though the demon in his head was cruel, it wasn’t that cruel and came in to fill Clay in on the situation. It definitely didn’t tell him everything. But it was at least enough that he knew what the place was, and, some of the event that got him here.

Ghostbur's transparent hands couldn't hold a guitar half of the time, and the song he wrote made Tommy's heart ache.
He didn't know which was worse.
