Each agent was assigned to infiltrate the suspects life by getting as close and involved with their personal life as possible. Wednesday quickly realizes she repulses her suspect and her suspect repulses her just as much. This task becomes increasingly difficult as the hatred slowly turns into something different. When Wednesday learns more about Enid's hard life, her interests, and more about her personality, she begins to understand her father a little bit more.
