This is basically Part 2 Of my 'Loving John and Michael' series, but I decided to write it first. Ellen Raymond has been working as Brian Epstein's personal assistant for two years. She's also been in the midst of an affair with her former childhood friend, John Lennon. It is now the summer of 1965, and the Beatles are on tour, staying at a rented house in Los Angeles for about a week. Ellen decides to check out the local music scene at the famous Troubadour night club and meets a struggling musician, Robert Michael Nesmith. There is an instant attraction. Will her relationship with the temperamental Beatle survive, or will she give it all up for a future Monkee?

Summary
A whole 1960s music culture placed into a high school.
Music teacher Mr Epstein announces the school battle of the bands, seeing school bands regroup and form around him. It looks like it's going to be a good competition this year, but the head teacher, Mr Kirshner, is out to promote the school's award winning band- The Beatles- while he seeks controls the new popular group- The Monkees- to make sure they fail.
Meanwhile, school girl (and boy) crushes, fights and friendships lead to the usual high school drama amongst all of them.
