Summary

Reed froze, hand tangled in cables, looking at RK900. A deep blue blush colored his cheeks, moving down over his clavicle and chest. His stoic composure from seconds before was now completely gone, replaced by a wide eyed glare. Even his perfectly quaffed hair had shifted just enough that a few strands now hung in his face. His body seemed to be in some sort of panic mode, giving the effect of heavy breathing.
“I told you to avoid the wires.”

Summary
Connor and Gavin never got along, not after the peaceful revolution, not after laws started changing, and not after Gavin started to even get along with the other androids. A wounded egotistical man and a prideful naïve android didn't mix well, but they would find they didn't have much of a choice but to get over it when they get assigned a case together and have to work longer together on it then initially thought.
The case threatens to bring the ever teetering relationship between humans and androids come crashing down as more cases of dead humans pop up and an extremist terroristic group rises seeking the destruction of all androids.

Two years post-peaceful revolution, human and android relationships have stabilized fairly well, and androids have been fully integrated into human society as US citizens--other countries are working on something similar. Still in Detroit, though, are the Andersons--a father, Hank, and his adopted android son, Connor, along with their dog, Sumo. Connor's been navigating deviancy fairly well, all things considered, but Hank knows that Connor needs better accessibility to his own people; peers that would understand him better--but Hank also knows that Connor doesn't want to let go of his father after only officially having him for just over a year.
In the afternoon of a fairly inconspicuous August day, Hank gets a call from none other than Elijah Kamski.

RK900, better known as Richard Anderson in post-peaceful revolution Detroit, enjoyed his work as a Detective along side his brother Connor, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy working as a diplomat at the android embassy even more. It's what he was made for, after all. He's all the happier for the change when it inevitably brings him into contact with Simon, Markus' right hand man, and the first person outside of Richard's family to see him for who he really is. Not Connor's replacement, not CyberLife’s ultimate creation or another would-be deviant hunter, just… him.
Falling in love is easy, turns out. Figuring out how to act once it happens is another thing entirely.-
