Hank woke up from a good night's sleep at 6 AM, surprising himself. Today was his and Connor's day off, the kid had been pretty excited to spend his free time with his brothers, which Hank was inclined to agree that it probably would do them good to have some kind of brotherly-bonding moment.
He pretends not to notice Nines standing there— ominously —looking out the window to the backyard. He goes on about his day, grabbing himself a nice cup of coffee, wondering where the hell his two other boys were—until he heard a muffled thud paired with a, "Fuck you!" coming from the backyard.

Summary
His idiot of a boyfriend arrived at the DPD in Detroit's merciless winter in that dumb plain CyberLife outfit. He said he'd be fine and that androids couldn't get sick, but Gavin doesn't give a damn if the Plastic could get sick or not. Connor, the "state-of-the-art-prototype" that he so insisted he is, was going to freeze his goddamn state-of-the-art robot balls off.

“The fffff-uck did you do to me, plastic?” Gavin shouted, strong and furious as ever.
Hank and Connor’s heads turned at the sight of Gavin brushing himself off. His stubble was neatly tamed, complimenting the shining grey of the android uniform draped around his shoulders. The scar on his nose was gone.
“Holy shit.” Hank mouthed, looking him over. “Reed’s an android.”

Kamski goes missing, Hank, Connor, and Gavin are sent to investigate. None of them expected they’d soon go missing themselves.
When they wake up, everything they know has changed. Connor’s human, the humans are androids, and worse? The android revolution never happened. Pretty soon, they all get a taste of what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes.
