    Summary

When Maeve closed the beautiful iron mask over her face, Aelin never expected to see sunlight again.

Which—well, it wasn't fine, but she had a plan in place for that. Lysandra would assume her form, Aedion would sire her children, Rowan would keep Terrasen from falling, and hopefully Dorian could figure out how to put the Wyrdkeys back in the gate and win the war.

So yes, Aelin thought that, despite her current situation, everything was going relatively to plan.

She did not expect to end up eleven years in the past, staring at faces long dead.

    Summary

Epic re-imagining of Throne of Glass inspired by Maeve's dreamscape in which Erawan never returns. What if he had stayed entombed in Morath, bound by Mala's lock? In this re-telling, Aelin grows up in Orynth with her family. The King of Adarlan never finds Elena's tomb or the wyrdkey, and he never gets taken over by the Valg. Maeve is still Valg and still a manipulative, scheming bitch.

Rowan x Aelin eventually. Cannon typical violence. Starts off as Teen, but eventually rating will escalate to Mature.

    Summary

“That better not be disrespect for your elders, Ashryver!”

Aedion spun around at the harsh sound of a walking staff hitting the stone. He grins at the older male leaning against a hawthorne staff at the top of the courtyard steps.

“Of course not Elgan.” He replied smoothly, ignoring how the fighting around him stops as the Cadre pauses to observe their visitor. “I was merely reminding Rowan–”

“Whitethorn, eh.” Even from a distance he could recognise Elgan’s signature smirk and raised brows. “Disrespecting the monarchy then.”

    “Always.”

    Summary

Aedion has been called many things over the years, somehow the title of Wolf had stuck. It took a while before he was ‘The Wolf of the North’, until he won several battles at the Bane’s helm. When Aelin took control of the kingdom he was suddenly Terrasen’s Wolf. Belonging to, not Wolf of - as in from. It soothed something instinctive in him to be claimed in such a way by his people.
But it had been a long time since he had ever thought about why he was called Wolf.

    Summary

“I wish you’d be more…” Aedion trailed off, clearly irritated. “Seriously, though, you’re okay with this.”

“As I’ve said many times,” Gavriel teased, knowing his son was beating himself up over this. “I am happy with however much of your time you’re willing to give me. I’d love to just spend the day with you, talk, go out to the city, whatever you want, but if you’re not ready for that - and you don’t ever have to be ready - then I’m happy for us to do nothing.”

“You make it hard to have an argument.”

Gavriel sighs, “That’s not what’s happening here.”

    Summary

Rhoe Galathynius barely had enough time for his wife and daughter, let alone a bastard orphan Evalin had taken in. Sure it was easier once Aedion was older and more interesting, less of a dependent child and more of an amusing soldier in training. He could go on hunting trips and babysit. His role as Aelin’s devoted protector seemed to solidify his place in Orynth.

    He was the help.

A soldier, not a family member.

But he told his queen none of that when she asked to hear about Rhoe.
